CareReady — the worker app

The whole business, in one app you already know how to use.

One app for the bookings, the invoices, the notes, the compliance dates and the tax position. It knows the 976 priced NDIS support items, so a shift you enter comes out the other end as a correctly coded line at the current cap. $49 a month, and it never takes a cut of your work.
Built and runningThis one is finished. Signed out it runs on practice data in your own browser; sign in and it is your own records, stored in Sydney.

The short version

Software you run your own business with.

The administrative half of being an independent support worker, in one place — scheduling, invoicing, participant records, compliance dates and the money. Not a marketplace, not an employer, and not a middleman on the work you already have.

Who it is for

A sole trader. One person, an ABN, a handful of participants, and no back office — so nothing in here assumes a payroll department or somebody else to chase the paperwork.

What it fixes

The Sunday night hours: which item number that Saturday shift should have been, what is still owed, when your first aid runs out, and how much of this year is actually yours after tax.

Every screen in it

Thirteen screens. That is the whole product.

Not a feature list of things we intend to build. This is the sidebar you get the moment you open the demo, in the order it appears.

  • Dashboard

Today, this week, and anything about to lapse.

  • Bookings

Shifts, with the support item and the penalty band worked out from the day and time you entered.

  • Participants

Their plan dates, their plan manager, and what they like doing.

  • Invoices

Built from the bookings, checked before you send, and exported as a PDF a plan manager accepts.

  • Messages

The thread with each participant and their family, kept with the rest of the record.

  • Agreements

Service agreements from a template, signed, dated and filed.

  • Services

What you offer and what you charge for it, set once.

  • Money

In, owed, travel at the ATO rate, and where you sit against the GST threshold.

  • Registers

Incidents and complaints, in the form the Commission expects to see them.

  • Compliance

Screening, first aid, CPR and insurance, with the countdown running on each.

  • Registration

How close you are to being able to register, worked out from what you already hold.

  • Settings

Your ABN, your business details, your data — export it or delete it from here.

These aren't screenshots. This is the actual product, live.

“How much of this year is actually yours?”

What came in, what is still owed, your travel at the ATO's own 91c a kilometre for 2026-27, and where you sit against the $75,000 GST registration threshold.

The rate is read straight from the app as this page loads, so it can't be out of date here without being out of date in the product too.

Travel

91c per km

The ATO rate for 2026-27, applied to every kilometre as you log it — 92 km and $83.72 on record here so far. Nothing to reconstruct in July.

GST position

$26,207 under

$48,793 of the $75,000 registration threshold. NDIS supports under a signed agreement are GST-free — CareReady tracks the turnover that counts anyway.

“Which item number was that?”

You enter a day and a time. CareReady picks the support item that matches the day, the time and the penalty band, and prices it at the current cap. No item lookup, no rate table taped to the fridge, and no invoice that quietly bills a Saturday at the weekday rate.

976 priced items are loaded, counted from the running product as this page renders.

What it replaces

One subscription instead of three bills and a spreadsheet.

  • The marketplace commission

16.6% of what your client pays. At $72.74 an hour, 25 hours a week, 46 weeks, that is $83,651 of work and $13,910 of it goes to the platform.

  • A separate admin app

Bugal, Blueset, Simplo and the rest of them, $180 to $660 a year for the scheduling and invoicing half on its own.

  • The spreadsheet, and the accountant's time spent reading it

Travel reconstructed in July from a year of memory, and a compliance date nobody was tracking until a plan manager asked for it.

Hireup say the difference covers insurance, superannuation and tax payments. They employ you, so it isn't a like-for-like comparison with Mable. Both figures come from the companies' own published rate cards, checked 10 August 2026.

CareReady

$49a month

$530 a year on the annual plan — about 10% off.

No commission, on anything, ever. Taking a cut of your work would make us a platform provider under the NDIS Commission's framework, with its own registration obligations. We would rather charge a fixed price and stay out of the way.

Where this actually is

The worker app is the one that is finished.

Real today

  • All thirteen screens, working. Bookings, invoicing with a pre-send check, participant records, service agreements, incident and complaint registers, the compliance wallet and the money page.
  • Real pricing. The full NDIS support catalogue with national price caps, the day and time bands, and provider travel at the ATO rate for 2026-27.
  • Signed in, it is your own private data in Supabase, hosted in Sydney, with row-level security so no account can read another's. Export it or delete it from Settings.
  • Signed out, the whole thing runs in your browser on practice data and never sends anything anywhere. That is not a cut-down demo — it is the same code.
  • A file for your accountant. A financial year of invoices, with their lines, GST treatment and NDIS item codes, in the shape Xero, MYOB or QuickBooks imports.

Not built yet

  • Billing. Nothing in the product charges anybody yet, so the price is a decision rather than a live subscription.
  • Direct claiming to the NDIA. You invoice the participant or their plan manager; CareReady does not lodge a payment request for you.
  • An accounting sync. The accountant's file is one you download and import yourself. Nothing connects to your accounting software, paid status does not come back, and no figure updates on its own.

There are no customers to show you yet, so rather than a wall of logos and testimonials we do not have, the whole product is open with no account and you can go and check every sentence above.

Go and look

No account, no email, no card.

It opens on the dashboard of a support worker who has been running a small caseload for about a year — this week's shifts, an invoice or two outstanding, and a compliance date getting close. The sidebar down the left is the thirteen screens above, and every one of them works.

Everybody in it is invented. Marcus, Diane and the rest are practice data, not a real participant's records, and nothing you type into the demo leaves your own browser.

Open the worker app The set-up journey

It opens straight into the working product. Nothing to install, nothing to undo.

Open it and give it a real client.

Every subscription starts with one month free, so you can run a real participant through it before paying anything. After that it's $49 a month, flat.
